Some Operators are also capable of dealing Physical Statuses, often starts with Vulnerable:
Certain Operators also deal Forced Physical Statuses that does not need Vulnerable.
Vulnerable
“ | Hitting an enemy with attacks or skills with Physical Status effects for the first time only makes them Vulnerable instead of dealing the actual Physical Status. You must hit a Vulnerable enemy with attacks or skills with Physical Status effects to inflict the Physical Status. The Vulnerable effect ends when the Physical Status ends. | ” |
—Tutorial |
When an Operator used a skill that can deal Physical Statuses, if the enemy is not Vulnerable, they will be dealt with the said effect, indicated by a broken shield besides their Health Bar. The effect lasts temporarily.
If the skill was cast on enemies with Vulnerable, however, the Physical Status will be successfully dealt, where they also takes additional damage and Stagger. Such enemies will also be Vulnerable for the duration of the Physical Status. When an enemy becomes Vulnerable, use skills with Physical Status effects to directly trigger the actual Physical Status. Use this and inflict massive Stagger to the enemy.
Do note that Elite and Boss enemy are immune to the effect, but the damage and Stagger affects as usual.
The damage dealt this way is affected by the dealer's stats.

—Tutorial |
Dealing Knock Back on enemies is identical to pushing in the prequel game, where enemies get pushed backwards, giving you a distance between enemies.
Lift
“ | Skills with the Lift effect make enemies Vulnerable. Hitting a Vulnerable enemy again with such skills will trigger the actual Lifted status: Deals extra Stagger and suspends weak enemies in mid-air. | ” |
—Tutorial |
Dealing Lift on enemies is identical to levitating in the prequel game, where enemies get lifted up high in the air, during which they cannot act, but melee attacks from allies still work, however.
Knock Down
“ | Skills with the Knock Down effect make enemies Vulnerable. Hitting a Vulnerable enemy again with such skills will trigger the actual Knocked Down status: Deals extra Stagger and causes weak enemies to fall to the ground. | ” |
—Tutorial |
Dealing Knock Down on enemies is identical to binding in the prequel game, where enemies fall onto the ground, during which they cannot act as they're struggling to get up.
