The Order of Steel Oath is a faction on Talos-II. The Order is a military organization wholly devoted to defending human civilization against the Aggeloid threat. It maintains a series of formidable fortresses along the northern frontier, serving as the first line of defense against any Aggeloi incursions from the North.
Overview
The Order of Steel Oath consists of knights stationed on the northern frontier of human civilization, serving as the first line of defense against the Aggeloi. To fulfill this role, the Order has constructed a number of formidable fortresses along the furthest edges of the northern frontier.[2] Their knights, known as Oathkeepers[3], are dedicated to upholding the Order's solemn oath to defend human civilization from the Aggeloi at all costs.
Year after year, numerous youths from the Civilization Band aspire to head north and confront the Aggeloi. However, only a few are able to successfully make the journey north, and even fewer maintain their resolve after encountering the Aggeloi. Those who manage to face the Aggeloi and pass the Order of Steel Oath's recruitment trials are accepted into the Order. The Order places little emphasis on the personal backgrounds of its knights.[4]
